Verizon One Talk, set up properly.

One number that rings every device. CSG designs your call flow, installs it, and answers when something needs to change.

What is Verizon One Talk?

Verizon One Talk is a cloud-based VoIP business phone service that runs on the Verizon network. Your business number rings a desk phone, a smartphone, and a laptop at the same time, or in whatever order you choose, and outbound calls show the business number no matter which device placed them.

It's available to any Verizon Business customer in the US at any size, with more than fifty business phone features included.

Auto Attendant

Callers route themselves instead of waiting on whoever picks up first.

Hunt groups

Calls roll through your team in the order you set, not into one voicemail box.

Call queue

Callers hold in line for the next available person on your team.

Simultaneous ring

Desk and mobile ring together, so nothing gets missed.

Call move

Start a call at your desk, walk to the car, keep talking.

Business texting

Text customers from the company number, not somebody's personal one.

Visual voicemail

Read voicemail instead of dialing in and writing numbers on your hand.

E911 location

An address registered on every line and kept current as you move.

How we work

Verizon provides the service. We do the work around it.

Three things happen between signing up and having a phone system that works.

3 CSG support agent providing ongoing Verizon One Talk support

Keep it working

Long after go-live day.

Migration

Replacing a PBX or POTS lines with One Talk

We audit every line on your bill first, because not all of them belong on a VoIP system. Putting an alarm panel on the wrong path is how buildings fail inspections.

  • Moves to One Talk: main lines, direct dials, toll-free
  • Needs POTS replacement: alarms, elevators, fire, fax
  • Usually just gets cancelled: lines nobody has used since 2019

Verizon One Talk FAQ

What is Verizon One Talk?
One Talk is Verizon's cloud-based VoIP phone service for businesses. It gives your company one business number across desk phones, smartphones, tablets, and computers, with more than fifty calling features including Auto Attendant, hunt groups, call queues, business texting, and visual voicemail. The service runs on the Verizon network.
How much does Verizon One Talk cost?
One Talk is billed by Verizon per line, per month. What you pay depends on line count, device choices, and whether you're bundling with other Verizon Business services. We build a quote against your actual line count and compare it to what you're paying now.
Do I need Verizon wireless service to use One Talk?
You need to be a Verizon Business customer for the service itself. Your employees' mobile devices don't all have to be on Verizon, though. The One Talk app works on phones and tablets from other carriers, which makes it workable for BYOD teams.
Does CSG sell One Talk phones?
No. Handsets come through Verizon. What we do is recommend the right devices for each space, run the ordering process with Verizon on your behalf, and stage and provision everything before it ships.
Can I keep my existing business phone number?
Yes. Number porting is part of every deployment we run, including main lines, direct dials, and toll-free. We schedule port dates around your business hours so phones don't go dark mid-workday.
What is a hunt group, and will CSG set it up?
A hunt group routes an incoming call through a list of people until someone answers, in whatever order you define: everyone at once, one at a time, or round-robin. We configure them during deployment and retune them as your team changes.
Can One Talk replace my old PBX or POTS lines?
For anything a person answers, usually yes. Alarm panels, elevator phones, fire lines, and fax need a dedicated POTS replacement instead, because they carry compliance requirements a VoIP system doesn't meet. We audit every line and put each one on the right path.
What happens if the internet at my office goes down?
Desk phones need working internet at the site, so One Talk includes call handling rules that reroute during an outage. Mobile devices keep working over cellular either way. If a location can't afford to lose calls at all, a backup connection is a separate conversation we're happy to have.
Does One Talk work across multiple locations?
Yes. Extension dialing between sites, a shared Auto Attendant, and one admin portal covering everything. We run multi-site rollouts in waves so every location ends up on the same configuration and install standard.
How long does a deployment take?
A single site is usually a matter of weeks end to end, and most of that is number porting lead time rather than anything we control. Multi-site rollouts get scheduled in waves. You get a dated plan at kickoff, not a range.
