Managed Services Launch Support Terms

Your order for Mobile Device Management Launch service (“Services”) and is subject to the terms (“Terms”) of this agreement. These Terms, those terms incorporated by reference, and the details you agree to in your online order (“Order”) form the entire agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Connected Solutions Group LLC. (known as “CSG” in these Terms).

BY ACCEPTING THIS SERVICE, YOU SIGNIFY THAT YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WHICH MAY BE AMENDED AT ANY TIME BY POSTING THE AMENDED TERMS ON CSG WEBSITES. ANY AMENDED TERMS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY ARE POSTED.

Overview

CSG’S MDM Services offers a solution to implementing critical software for mobile security and infrastructure management; at a fixed price for chosen support package. This package includes support for a contractual five (5) hours of conference video calls or expiration of six (6) months from the time of purchase, whichever comes first. Launch Support includes, but not limited to, education and guidance on MDM configurations through virtual meetings, emails, and phone calls; Tiers 1, 2, and 3 support. The focus of the virtual meetings with a CSG Technician is to provide guidance through the setup of your MDM portal and assist with enrollment of devices to authenticate the configuration of the MDM and ensure device functionality meets expectations.

Preparation

You will need administrative access to your MDM portal. Licenses are bought in coordination with your Verizon Representative. If you are unsure that licenses have been purchased, or are experiencing issues accessing your MDM portal, please reach out to your Verizon Representative.

If you are using a manufacturer enrollment tool like Apple Business Manager (ABM), Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) or Android Zero Touch (AZT), you will need access to the corresponding cloud portal. If you have purchased additional threat defense or content filtering software (Lookout for Work, Asavie, Wandera, Zimperium, etc.), you will also need access to the corresponding cloud portal.

Project Kick Off

A CSG MDM Welcome email will provide information about how to begin support with our team including, the links for different manufacturer enrollment tools, and the corresponding technician link to schedule your first support session for a time that works best for you. After the first meeting has been conducted, the technician will provide you with an added scheduling link that you may use for ongoing support. For any scheduling aid, you will have access to our MDM Administrator via [email protected].

Continuing Support

CSG’s business operates from 9am to 5pm EST Monday–Friday excluding federal holidays. Below are the following ways to receive support from MDM Professional Services.

  1. Email [email protected] to create a support ticket.
  2. For urgent matters, contact support at 800-613-2218.
  3. PDF guides covering basic tasks, common policy creation, and troubleshooting.

Cancellation Policy

Our business runs on a scheduled appointment basis. When cancelling an appointment, we request all Clients to supply at LEAST 24-hour notice. CSG reserves the right to charge Clients for the full session if 24-hour advance notice is not given.

Engagement

A CSG professional services technician will educate and familiarize you with your MDM portal and walk you through configuring the features as described below:

  1. A high-level walkthrough of the MDM portal and menu structure.
  2. Training in local user creation, user and/or device group structuring.
  3. Basic configuration of policies around app control, email incorporation, passcode, device restrictions, etc.
  4. Aid in adding and distributing applications from the Google Play store, iOS app store, Apple Business Manager, or .APK/.IPA file.
  5. Walkthrough of enrolling devices in MDM (Supervised, Managed, Device owner, Profile owner).
  6. Setup of MDM certificate and integration of Apple Business Manager; Apple Push Notification Service (APNS), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), ABM MDM Server, and Device Enrollment Profile (DEP) (required for iOS devices).
  7. Setup of an Android Enterprise account (required for Android devices).
  8. Integration of supported MTD (Mobile Threat Defense) software.
  9. Profile creation and automation for Knox Mobile Enrollment and Android Zero Touch, when applicable.
  10. Integration of existing active directory or LDAP server, if applicable.
  11. Creation of Kiosk mode, if applicable.
  12. Training and overview of device commands:
  • Remote wipe
  • Update Device Location
  • Device check-in
  • Clear Passcode
  • Other device commands
  1. Overview of reporting system and report creation.
  2. Integration of Mobile Threat Defense and application distribution.
  3. Note- configuration and policy creation will be handled by Client.

Pricing

CSG will provide the agreed upon deliverables and services to Client for $599.00.  Client agrees to pay CSG directly unless otherwise noted to be included on the Client’s Verizon bill.

Term and Termination

Warranties and Representations

By using these services, you warrant and represent that: You have the authority to enter into this agreement and to perform all obligations hereunder. The use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of any work product resulting from the services does not and will not violate the copyright, patent, trade secret, or other property right of any former client, employer, or third party.

Nondisclosure

Parties shall not use Confidential Information for any purpose other than to facilitate the transactions contemplated by this AGREEMENT.

Entire Agreement

The provisions, terms, and conditions of this AGREEMENT represent the entire agreement between the Parties and supersede any prior written documents or understandings not incorporated herein.  In the event inconsistencies exist between this AGREEMENT and any prior written agreement or understanding, the terms of this AGREEMENT shall prevail.

Severability

In the event any one or more of the provisions of this AGREEMENT shall for any reason be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this AGREEMENT shall be unimpaired, and the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a mutually acceptable provision, which, being valid, gal and enforceable, comes closest to the intention of the parties underlying the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision.

Governing Law

This AGREEMENT and any amendments thereto shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Electronic Delivery Policy, Customer Consent, and Notices.

You consent to receive all agreements, updates, disclosures, policies, notices, and other information (collectively, “Notices”) provided by CSG or its affiliates via paper and/or electronic delivery at CSG’s sole discretion. CSG may deliver or display Notices to you by email or by posting a message on the Services Customer Portal. You may receive periodic texts, emails, or other communications from CSG, such as notices regarding expiration of your account and changes to these Terms.

Confidentiality

Each Party covenants and agrees with the other that it will hold and treat and maintain this AGREEMENT and all information contained in this AGREEMENT and all information provided to the other in connection with this AGREEMENT in confidence and each Party will take all steps necessary in order to safeguard the confidentiality of this AGREEMENT and all information provided to the other in connection with this AGREEMENT and will not disclose, directly or indirectly, the contents of this AGREEMENT or any such information as aforesaid, unless agreed in advance in writing by the other Party.

Waiver of Warranties 

CSGs’ entitlement to reimbursement for the described objective above is not contingent upon the final outcome. CSG represents and warrants to the Client and the Client hereby acknowledges that CSG makes no warranties or predictions regarding the performance nor capabilities of the Product(s) post installation or implementation.
