Vertical Specific Teams
As Connected Solutions Group expanded its portfolio, VST’s, or Vertical Specific Teams, were formed. The landscape of wireless or cellular based technology is ever evolving, and as the team grew, leadership wanted to be certain that customers understood that by engaging CSG for a specific application, you are receiving support from a DEDICATED team that only focuses on that application. Essentially each individual team or VST is its own organization within the company, complete with a clear management structure, training and procedural policy, and mission statement.
Team members are not cross-trained across different VST’s; they are hired and trained from the outset to learn a particular type of hardware, software, or application. This methodology also allows for the expansion into new verticals as the technology evolves and new applications come to market. Management can then begin to construct a new VST and expand to support that product accordingly.
